Sony Sonnar T* FE 55mm F1.8 ZA (SEL55F18Z)

The bokeh from this F1.8 aperture is just gorgeous, making my portraits pop with that smooth background blur. Focus is snappy and accurate even in low light, and the build feels solid without being heavy.

I was blown away by how sharp this lens renders at f/1.8—every single eyelash is crisp even wide open. The AF on my a7III locks on instantly in low light, and the compact size makes it perfect for street photography without drawing attention.

The bokeh from this lens is just gorgeous—the F1.8 aperture really makes backgrounds melt away while keeping the subject tack sharp. I’ve been using it for street portraits and the ZEISS Sonnar rendering gives photos that distinct, almost film-like pop.
