Canon RF 75-300mm F4-5.6

I was able to capture clear shots of birds from across a large field, and the zoom ring turns smoothly without any stiffness. It's impressive how much reach you get in a lens that doesn't weigh you down during a long walk.

This lens is light enough that I didn't mind carrying it around a park for an afternoon. The 300mm reach let me capture some nice close-up shots of birds that were way across the pond.

I was skeptical about the autofocus speed for moving subjects, but it locks onto deer running through a field faster than I expected. The zoom ring feels smooth and precise, making quick adjustments easy during a game.
