600mm f/4. Built-in 1.4x teleconverter. Totally reimagined for Z series.
The 600mm f/4 prime. A vital lens prized by motor sports, action and wildlife pros for its reach, speed, brightness and image quality. Empowered by the larger Z mount, Nikon has reimagined this lens for today's high-performance mirrorless cameras. Lighter. Faster. Sharper. I mounted this lens and the built-in 1.4x teleconverter gave me instant 840mm reach without any extra glass, which saved me a ton of weight in the field. The f/4 aperture lets in enough light for early-morning wildlife shots, and the focus ring is buttery smooth compared to older gear I’ve used.

Michael ★★★★★
