Sigma 15mm F1.4 DC Contemporary

The autofocus on this 15mm is incredibly quiet and smooth for video, which was a pleasant surprise. Sharpness is truly uncompromising, even wide open, and the compact size makes it easy to handle on a gimbal.

I’ve been using this for handheld video work, and the comfortable shooting design makes long takes much easier on my wrists. The f1.4 aperture gives me that dreamy separation even in tight indoor spaces, all while staying surprisingly compact.

The sharpness across the entire frame is unreal—even the corners are crisp. I was worried about the weight, but it's small and light enough to shoot handheld for hours. Perfect for video work with that comfortable grip and smooth manual focus.
