William F. ★★★★★

The stabilization is so effective I shot handheld at 1/4 second and got sharp images, which is amazing for such a wide lens. It’s also surprisingly light for an L-series, making it easy to carry on long hikes.

Leo ★★★★★

I was worried an ultra-wide this light would feel flimsy, but it’s solid on the camera and the built-in stabilizer genuinely helps handheld shots at 10mm. The zoom ring is smooth enough that I kept it on for an entire hike without noticing the weight.

Leo ★★★★★

The 10mm end captures such an expansive field of view that it’s changed how I frame landscapes, and the image stabilisation makes handheld shots at dusk actually usable. It’s surprisingly light for an ultra-wide L-series lens too.
