Thypoch Simera 75mm F1.4 (Mマウント)

The f/1.4 aperture creates dreamy separation between subject and background, and the focus ring has just the right amount of dampening. It makes even everyday street scenes feel cinematic.

Pulled this off my Leica body and the rendering is just breathtaking—that subtle, almost painterly falloff from sharp to soft gives every shot a timeless feel. The f/1.4 aperture lets in so much light that I'm shooting handheld in near darkness without a second thought.

The rendering on this lens is something else—the way it melts backgrounds while keeping edges crisp feels almost like a portal to another scene. I've been shooting wide open all week and every frame has that hidden grandeur the description promises. It's heavy but worth every gram.
