FiiO Warmer R2R デスクトップ R2R チューブバッファー & DAC

The four JJ tubes give this DAC a noticeably warmer, more organic sound compared to the usual sterile chip-based stuff. I’ve been running it with optical from my TV and the low-noise power supply really cleans up the background, making dialogue much clearer.

Plugged in my CD player via coaxial and the soundstage opened up noticeably wider than my previous DAC. The linear power supply is dead quiet too, no hum at all even with sensitive headphones connected to my amp.

The four JJ Electronic E88CC tubes really warm up the soundstage in a way I haven't heard from solid-state gear. Running it via optical into my amp, the R2R DAC gives vocals a natural, almost velvety texture that makes long listening sessions effortless.
