キヤノン RF 50mm f/1.8 STM

Finally, a prime lens that doesn't feel like a brick in my bag—the compact size and smooth STM focus make it perfect for everyday shooting. I’m loving how sharp the f/1.8 aperture is for isolating subjects in portraits, even in low light.

Took this on a walk through the city at dusk, and the f/1.8 aperture handled the low light beautifully—even handheld shots came out crisp. The autofocus is impressively quiet and snappy for such a compact lens. It’s exactly the lightweight everyday prime I wanted for my mirrorless setup.

I was a bit worried this would feel cheap, but the metal mount and compact build are surprisingly solid for the price. The f/1.8 aperture gives a really nice blur in portraits that makes my snapshots look way more professional.
