SIRUI ST-Z Short Center Column

I’ve been using this short column to get my tripod lower for macro shots, and the triangular design really does keep it rock solid even at awkward angles. It’s much easier to swap out than I expected, and the carbon fibre keeps the weight down nicely.

The triangular carbon fibre build feels rock solid even when I’m crouched low for ground-level shots, and swapping it in takes under a minute. It’s noticeably stiffer than the stock column, so I’ve stopped worrying about micro-shake on long exposures.

Swapping out the long center column was a breeze, and this short one makes getting those ground-level macro shots so much easier. The carbon fiber build feels solid but doesn't add noticeable weight to my kit.
