Viltrox AF 9mm F2.8

Only 175g but built like a tank — I’ve been taking it everywhere for street photography and the f2.8 aperture handles dim alleyways beautifully. The 0.13m minimum focus distance lets me get surprisingly close for dramatic foregrounds.

The 113.8° field of view is perfect for tight interior shots without any distortion, and it focuses down to 0.13m for some surprisingly close details. I've been carrying it everywhere since it's barely heavier than a phone, and the F2.8 lets me grab dim evening scenes without a tripod.

Picked it up mainly for the weight—175g means I can toss it in any bag without a second thought. The close 0.13m focus distance lets me get right into small scenes, which I hadn't expected from an ultra-wide. Sharp enough for my travel shots and the F2.8 helps indoors without a flash.
