Thypoch Simera 35mm F1.4 Type ii

I’ve been using this lens for street photography and the crescent-shaped focus tab makes manual focusing feel incredibly smooth and intuitive. The build quality is solid and the fast f/1.4 aperture gives a really nice vintage look to portraits.

The crescent-shaped focus tab makes manual adjustments feel much more intuitive than a standard ring. I’m really impressed with how sharp the images are wide open at f/1.4, with a lovely vintage character.

Finally got this lens and the de-clickable aperture ring is such a thoughtful touch for video work. The all-metal build feels incredibly solid in the hand, and the image quality wide open is exactly the vintage look I was hoping for.
