Thypoch Simera 35mm F1.4

I was skeptical about the "window into the present" idea, but the first shot I took with this lens genuinely changed how I see light and shadows. The aperture ring clicks feel precise and satisfying, making manual focusing a joy.

The bokeh from this 35mm f/1.4 is absolutely dreamy—wide open at 1.4, the way it melts backgrounds into soft, creamy circles is magical. I’ve been shooting street scenes and even everyday objects feel cinematic. It really does feel like seeing the world through a new window.

The focus ring has just the right amount of resistance for precise manual adjustments, and the build feels solid without being too heavy. I’ve been using it for street photography and the images have a unique, almost cinematic depth that I haven’t seen from my other lenses.
