Tamron 17-50mm f/4 Di III VXD

I was really impressed by how quick and quiet the VXD autofocus is during video work. The constant f/4 aperture kept exposure steady while zooming from 17mm to 50mm, and the moisture-resistant build gives me confidence shooting outdoors.

Picked this up for landscapes and the internal zoom is a game changer for balancing on a gimbal. The moisture-resistant build gives me peace of mind shooting near waterfalls. Sharpness across the whole frame at f/4 is exactly what I needed.

I was surprised by how fast the autofocus locks on with the VXD motor, perfect for shooting moving subjects. The fluorine coating on the front element is a nice touch, keeping the glass clean after a day out in the field.
