Sony FE 24-50mm F2.8 G (SEL2450G)

This zoom is noticeably lighter than my other full-frame options, making it a joy to carry around all day. The 24-50mm range covers everything from wide landscapes to tighter portraits, and the autofocus snaps right into focus. Exactly what I needed for everyday shooting without the weight.

The constant F2.8 aperture throughout the zoom range is a game-changer for indoor events. I've been able to shoot in lower light without cranking the ISO, and the sharpness holds up even wide open.

Picked this up as a daily walkaround lens and the f2.8 throughout the whole zoom range is what sold me—shooting indoors without cranking ISO is a game changer. It’s compact enough that I don’t think twice about bringing it along, and the 24mm wide end fits my street shots perfectly.
