Sony A7 IV / A7M4 Body Only

Finally pulled the trigger on a hybrid body and the stills are breathtaking, but what really sealed the deal for me is how effortless the video-to-photo switch feels on the fly. The autofocus tracking on moving subjects is just stupidly reliable, even in dim light.

I was honestly surprised by how smooth the 4K 60p video looks straight out of camera — no need for heavy editing at all. The 33MP sensor gives me plenty of room to crop without losing detail, which is huge for my wildlife shots.

The autofocus on this camera locks onto subjects so quickly, I’ve been nailing shots I used to miss with my old setup. Switching between photo and video modes is seamless, and the body feels solid but not too heavy for all-day shooting. It’s exactly the hybrid workhorse I needed.
