The extension rod clicks into place with a satisfyingly solid sound, and swapping between configurations takes less than a minute. I’ve been using it for wildlife photography and the one-step height adjustment is a game-changer for tracking fast-moving subjects.

The locking mechanism on the height adjustment clicks into place so securely that I finally feel confident using a monopod for fast-moving wildlife shots. It extends and locks in one smooth motion, which saves me precious seconds when the action is unpredictable.
