SIRUI AM-284 Carbon Fiber Tripod

The twist-lock mechanism feels solid and reliable, and the whole setup goes from collapsed to ready in seconds. I’ve been using it for hiking and it’s noticeably lighter than my old tripod.

I am 6’2” and was worried it would be too short, but the leg locks extend smoothly and hold rock solid even on uneven ground. Love how it folds down small enough to toss in my daypack without a second thought.

Packed it for a weekend hiking trip and barely noticed it in my bag, yet it held my DSLR rock-steady on uneven ground. The collapsed length is genuinely small enough to fit inside my carry-on without sacrificing stability.
