Sigma 24-70mm F2.8 DG DN II Art

The autofocus is so snappy and silent during video, and the lens feels perfectly balanced on my A7IV. Colors and contrast are noticeably richer straight out of camera compared to my older zoom. A genuine all-around upgrade that handles everything from portraits to landscapes beautifully.

Coming from the Tamron 28-75, the extra 4mm on the wide end is noticeable and the autofocus feels snappier in low light. The focus ring damping is also noticeably smoother than my old copy.

The autofocus on this 24-70mm is noticeably faster than my older zoom, and it locks onto eyes without hunting even in dim light. The compact size for an f2.8 zoom makes it my new go-to for event work.
