Nikon Action 10X42 Binoculars

The wide 61.4° apparent angle of view makes a huge difference when scanning for birds—everything feels immersive. The large center focusing wheel is also really smooth and quick to adjust.

I was pleasantly surprised by how smooth and easy the large center focusing wheel is to operate, even with gloves on. The wide angle of view makes scanning treelines feel effortless, and the rubber-armored housing gives a solid, confident grip. Perfect for my weekend hikes.

The multicoated lenses really cut down glare when I'm glassing the ridge at sunset. Focus wheel is smooth enough to track a hawk with one finger. Solid in the hand without being heavy around the neck.
