Edifier R1280DBs

The wooden enclosures really do cut down on distortion—listening to jazz sounds clean and full even at higher volumes. Plugged in my TV via optical and the sound quality is noticeably better than built-in speakers.

I was worried the wooden cabinet might look bulky, but it actually gives the sound a warm, clean feel that fills my whole living room. The 42 watts are plenty for casual listening, and I've been switching between optical and Bluetooth without any hiccups.

The Bluetooth pairing was instant and stable, which is exactly what I needed for my living room setup. I'm really impressed with how clear the audio stays even when I push the volume—no distortion at all.
