كانون RF 200-800mm F6.3-9 IS USM

I’ve been shooting birds at dusk, and the 200-800mm range lets me frame them without moving closer. It’s surprisingly light for such a long zoom, and the autofocus locks on fast enough to track swallows in flight.

The image stabilization is a lifesaver when shooting handheld at 800mm, easily getting me sharp shots of birds in flight. It’s surprisingly lightweight for such a long lens, making hiking with it all day totally manageable.

I was skeptical about the reach, but the 200-800mm range is absolutely incredible for wildlife shots without lugging a massive lens around. The autofocus is snappy and quiet, and that 5.5-stop stabilization really helps keep things sharp even at the long end.
